Clarinetist and former Local 1 member, Raymond Grignet ~ 1930-2010

Survived by his wife Helene Guillmette and his 4 children, Gisele, Jean-Philippe, Laurent and Francis, Ray inspired hundreds of students through music. Founder of the music program at Montreal’s Joseph-François-Perrault High School, his commitment and passion for teaching touched the lives of generations of students. A member of Local prior to his appointment to JFP in 1978, he was well known in Cincinnati as both a teacher and clarinetist.
