Paul Frankenfeld, President

Paul Frankenfeld became President in 2009, replacing long time president Eugene Frey.

How long have you been on the CMA Board?  Many years- I’d have to figure that out!  I served as secretary for some of the last years of Mr. Frey’s presidency.

What year did you join the union and to which locals have you belonged?

What particular talent or interest do you bring to your office? Paul has an amazing memory for details and history and grasp of dealing with people to get the job done.

What instrument(s) do you play?  I’ve played the viola since I was 12.

What kind of music do you play?  I’ve been an orchestral musician for most of my career and also enjoy playing chamber music.

What interest or talent do you have that would be surprising to our members? Paul is a chef extraordinaire, and often shows off his culinary specialties at our quarterly meetings.  His fudge at Christmas time is a present to the board members!  Another interest is that he raises bees at his home in Green Township.

Are any of your family members musicians?  My wife Kristin plays the violin.
